The Green Flag Matchmaking Process

STEP ONE: Complete Your Profile

Sign up via the general interest form on this page.

Then, you’ll get an email from irenejagla@greenflagmatchmaking.com.

Open up that email and click on the “Start Here” button to complete a survey for your unique matchmaking profile.

STEP TWO: The Interview

You will be chosen for an interview when someone meets your match preferences regarding age range, geographic location, gender and sexual orientation, life and family goals, political orientation, etc. 

If your matchmaking profile matches someone else’s, I will contact you to schedule a 60-90 minute in-person or video conference interview.

The interview consists of questions regarding early childhood and family life; education and career trajectory; hobbies, interests, and philosophies, etc. 

The purpose of the interview is for me to better understand your dating history, relationship needs, and personality type to better inform future matching. 

The interview will also provide dating tips and advice, relationship strategies for moving forward with matchmaking. It also determines who will be your first Match!

You can pay for this Introductory Matchmaking service via Zelle after our interview.

STEP THREE: Pre-Date Phone Call

Following the interview, I will schedule phone call with you to discuss your first match; ideas for your first date, and will answer any questions that you have, as long as those questions relate to shared interests, dealbreakers, dating requirements, or life goals.

Then, I’ll connect you with your match! This means I’ll provide written information and a description of your match via email. The description includes values, hobbies, dealbreakers, personality type, occupation, and location. 

You’ll agree to meet your match based on the written description and our conversation, not a photo.

After you’ve agreed to meet your match, I will share a photo so you know what they look like before meeting them in person.

STEP FOUR: First Date!

A first date is a casual 1-2 hour meet-up at an inexpensive public establishment, or it could be a coffee and a walk. The purpose of the first date is to establish a rapport, discuss common interests, and determine if there’s a possibility for a second date. 

STEP FIVE: Post-Date Phone Call

We debrief on how the date went and if you’d like to continue seeing your match.

If there is mutual interest, you can continue dating your first match!

If you’d like to move on to another match, I will ask what you’re looking for and will continue searching for future options for you!

When I find another mutual match, I will contact you with details, and you will pay $150 for a date with your new match. 

NOTE: Unlike other matchmaking companies, GREEN FLAG MATCHMAKING LLC does NOT guarantee a specific number of matches within a specified amount of time, which is why my matchmaking contract does not reflect a time period. This is because Green Flag Matchmaking prioritizes quality over quantity and does not believe in quotas for finding matches. Matchmaking takes time and patience and works differently for everyone.
